The Lab Technician position must be able to understand, comply, and be familiarized with company policies. He/She must also comply with CGMP, GLP, GDP and NJL safety policies. They must follow respective standard operation procedures and quality practices established by the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Departments.

The Lab Technician must have basic knowledge of chemistry and mathematics that will help use scientific rules and methods to solve problems and help perform and understand variety of analyses and techniques used in the laboratory. The Lab Technician position will be required to work under supervision and independently. The Lab Technician position will be required to perform basic routine quality testing of raw materials, in process material, botanicals, and finished products in a timely manner as per business needs, such as meeting turnaround time for urgent, rush and standard release testing. 

The position includes all other responsibilities that may be necessary to fulfill the duties associated with the position or as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position can be part-time of full-time.  Part-time work generally requires working 20 hours per week over a period of 5 days a week.  Full-time work requires working a minimum of 40 hours a week over a period of 5 days a week and may require additional hours to meet project deadlines. This position does not require traveling.

DIRECT REPORTS

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
