I obtained a manufacturer’s Certificate of Analysis, do I need to test for everything?
It is not necessary to test for everything on a manufacturer’s Certificate of Analysis. New Jersey Laboratories recommends testing three different lots of the product from the same manufacturer to ensure that the product is consistently manufactured to quality standards.
How does NJ Labs qualify a supplier or vendor?
To qualify a supplier or vendor, New Jersey Laboratories sends an audit questionnaire. After the questionnaire has been evaluated, an on-site audit may be requested. Facilities are audited for quality materials and services.
Is New Jersey Laboratories ISO-certified? Is it required?
New Jersey Laboratories does not have ISO certification. We are registered and inspected by the FDA and DEA. Our laboratory follows CGMP and GDP guidelines to ensure that client and regulatory requirements are met. We are currently working towards becoming ISO-certified.
